May is Mental Health Awareness Month and in an effort to fight stigmas and bring awareness to mental health issues, we’re hosting a Depressed Cake Shop at the shop!
Join us on Saturday, May 18th to load up on cookies, cupcakes, brownies and so much more.
The Depressed Cake Shop is a one-day pop-up bake sale that started in London in 2013. All baked goods and desserts are grey, black or silver, as a delicious way to start an important conversation about depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses. Read more at depressedcakeshop.com.
Everything at Nashville's bake sale will be $5 and all money benefits NAMI Tennessee. Learn more about their work at namitn.org.
Participating bakers and bakeries include:
Baked on 8th
Lisa Marie White of Killebrew, L.A. Jackson and Marsh House
Megan Seling of Bake It in a Cake
And more to be announced soon!
